Synthetic products have a uniform look, while natural products may have variations

Synthetic toxic products rely heavily on the use of synthesized and/or laboratory-derived ingredients which allows for manufacturing controls to ensure the end product is consistent. In conjunction with the use of synthetic dyes and colourants to help mask any product variations that would otherwise be apparent. At LFT, all our of newer products are free from the use of dyes and colourants. Some of our original products may still use food grade dyes to help identify a specific product scent.

As we use natural ingredients in our products, there is often a variance and non-uniformity in the product and ultimately the finished product. There are many instances where this can occur, but a specific example is the Grapefruit Essential Oil we use in our Dish Liquid. Not only can the aroma differ, but so can the colour due to differences in the raw material, that being citrus fruits. It is still the same product as indicated by the labelling.
